One year ago exactly, my oldest daughter and I were strolling her baby sister around our block, just enjoying the nice weather and stretching our legs for a bit. It was a six-star weather day, as my favorite meteorologist Alan Crone would say, and we began to talk about just how lucky we were to experience such a nice day.
It had just rained the day before, and my daughter, being the product of her environment, kept commenting on that as well. I was getting tickled thinking about how she sounded just like a little 80-year-old man, who loves to talk about the weather, when she looked up and said, “Mom, I’m so glad God sent a little bit of rain to us last night. It was like he looked down and remembered “Oh yeah, I should probably send some rain their way.” You know since he’s probably up there just watchin’ TikTok’s on his phone.”
So now before every thunderstorm, we know that God has hit the pause button on TikTok, sat his phone down, and finally remembered to send us some rain.
