I just want to start by stating that some of my favorite people are redheads. My husband, my mother-in-law, my boss, all redheads, and all fantastic, fabulous people. So this story is not a knock at all on our fair, SPF-carrying friends. This is just one of my all-time favorite memories with my oldest daughter, who had a life-changing realization while on the way to school a few years ago.
