On Saturday, June 13, immediately following the 101 Wild West Rodeo Parade (which kicks off at 10:00 a.m.), the community is invited to stay downtown and continue the fun at DXDT (Down by Downtown), a lively family-friendly event hosted by the Ponca City Arts & Humanities Council and Ponca City Main Street. The festivities will take place at Veterans Plaza, located at 4th Street and Grand Avenue, and continue until 2:00 p.m.

DXDT has become a popular way to gather for music and fun while showcasing everything that makes Downtown Ponca City a special destination. This year's event features live music from Shasta Martin and Cowboy Bob, whose blend of country and western influences provides the perfect soundtrack for a rodeo-filled afternoon. Guests can relax, enjoy the music, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere that fills downtown during one of the city's most celebrated weekends.

Food trucks and local vendors will be on site serving a variety of delicious options, including Marshall's Kitchen, Taco's San Miguel, Sweets by Kitty, Veterans Landing Hot Dog Basket, and Vortex Alley Brewing. Children and families can enjoy hands-on Make & Take Americana Crafts, bounce houses, corn hole, and other family-friendly activities.
